On this rainy day I thought I'll sit down and write whatever is on my mind at this exact moment.

Just feeling a bit sentimental today, could it be due to the weather? Weather tends to have that effect on me. On sunny days everything around seem so much more beautiful, cheerful but on days like today it seems to be so gloomy,sad and all the bad feelings surfaces.
Should I even complain now that around the world there are so many natural disasters and so many people dying, homeless, starving and living in fear. I think we will always think grass is greener on the other side.

I was at a Catholic funeral service last Wednesday and it was a sad day as the deceased was the younger brother of one of my dear friend who was a cancer fighter that taught everyone the meaning of life. He was young, only 46 but till the day he died he did not ask God why it had to be him. The father at the service had said something that really touched my heart. He said it is not life if there's no sickness, no death. Having only the good things is not a true life. We can only experience life through happiness, sickness, death, birth, old age. That is the meaning of life.

It is so true that everyday we dwell on different things in our lives, think how unlucky we are for the things that's happening to us. The world will not stop revolving around us even if we cry or complain. We just have to pick ourselves up and continue our journey in life. "Sh.t" happens but life continues so might as well start cruising down our journey with a big smile on our face. Be strong and positive!

My perfect proposal

Every girl must dreamed about their wedding day and what it will be like one day. Some even dream of what the proposal will be like, will it be touching, romantic and perfect. We all see so many perfect "staged" proposals in movies and sometimes hope one day our guys will take some "cues" from them. But at the end most of us will wind up with lines like...."let's get married", "Mom wants us to get married", "well you're pregnant we should get married"...etc.
I'm a romantic at heart so naturally I want the "works" and want it to be memorable and touching. This morning...Thursday, Jan 20, 2011 I got my perfect proposal! Tune into 103.5 QMFM tomorrow between 8-8:30am and you will get the scoop. xoxo
